Today CLS had the opportunity to provide over 100 turkeys and gift cards to families in need.

We are extremely thankful to our community partners, NBC Washington and Telemundo 44, for their continued support for this annual event. The great need of our community was demonstrated by the hundreds of cars gathered around our Greenbelt office starting as early as 8:00 a.m. Unfortunately, we were not able to provide every family with a turkey and gift card.

If you were not able to receive one, please consider participating in one of the following distribution events in Prince George's County:
Council Member Monique Anderson-Walker and Delegate Walker tomorrow
Council Member Jolene Ivey and Delegate Julian Ivey tomorrow
• Councilman Mel Franklin and Delegate Darryl Barnes tomorrow
• Councilman Sydney Harrison (Sunday 11/22)
